My mom LOVES sunflowers, so naturally, these cupcakes fit! I impressed myself with these. It's funny that I never expect things to turn out edible or presentable. This was the first time I used a butter meringue frosting. Not sure how I feel about the frosting- it is very temperamental and used a lot of ingredients (as most Martha recipes do). The texture and taste were once again worth the work. I love this little cupcake stand too (again, mobile uploads aren't the best, but we're working on that). It displays cupcakes so simply and creates a bundled effect perfect for flower themed cakelettes.
