Celebrating Baby Layla with a diaper party and a lady bug cake! This cake turned out so well and was my first "I CAN do this cake!" I started with no plan and just went with it as I built the cake, which is why I think it turned out so well. The cake was red velvet with a classic cream cheese frosting. I filled the bug layer with a strawberry filling, which added moisture and an interesting twist. I was really happy with the way the leaves turned out.
